Ozark Vacation

Here are some photos from my trip. I went alone. I had time to just relax. I went in little shops ,drove around the little towns, stopped at nearly all of the overlooks....and I went on a tour of Mystic Caverns. That was fun. I really had no timeclock to keep for a couple of days. My kids were at Camp all week, and they don't call home unless there is an emergency. My husband is a trucker, so he was up north. I had my cell phone, but couldn't get reception in my room. The place that I stayed was Cliff House Inn in Jasper,Ark.. I recommend it to anyone.. I enjoyed the quiet and nature at it's most beautiful. I ate lunch at an overlook. No one else was there. I must have gone at a time where there aren't many tourists. I bet it will be different this weekend.. I would love to go back and spend a week.. Maybe next time, I can stay a little longer.

Vacation.....Here I Come!

Well, It's finally here. Finally time for my VACATION!!!.. It got off to a bumpy start... and I still havn't left yet, But I feel that I will make it..

I'm packing the kids for their kids CAMP this week. They leave monday early and I leave behind them. Going to the OZARKS!..
I'm going to stay is a wonderful place on the side of what they call "The Grand Canyon of the Ozarks".

I won't have a phone in the room (only my cell) and No internet. I intend on exploring the area. From the caverns, to maybe a diamond mine, or The Passion Play. I'm going to stop along the way there too. At places I want to see... Maybe a fruitstand or two. I'm going to take in the wonderful Ozark Mountains.

Seeing that I almost didn't get to go, due to circumstances beyond my control, I consider myself truly blessed.
I'm going to clear my head with that fresh, mountain air and definitely relax. It's been a long time since I've had a Vacation.....

Jonah'sTeam...Rutherford's Garage

Jonah's team is so far, undefeated. This means they are the Tippah County League Champs for the 12-13 year olds.
They have 4 more games left, so they want to remain undefeated....Good Luck, You Guys..You're doing great!!!..

Honer Roll Parent

CampCreek Nursery Girl's Softball Team

This is Kristen's first year to play ball.. It's girl's fastpitch Softball. She has a pretty good arm and she is also good at being catcher. So far, their team has not won a game, but they have been close. I think one reason is because they are all 4th graders on her team, and the teams that they play against are 6th graders. I think 2 years is a big difference, But they didn't ask me..lol


We live in a small community, and Tippah County League just didn;t have enough sign up. So they have to play the ones closest to their ages..
But she is enjoying it. Her coach, Mr.Charlie lets them throw water balloons after every game.
She has known most of the girls on her team since she was little.
I think she wants to play again next year.. I'm glad she likes it.. It's so much better than watching TV or those Nintendo games. I am blessed with 2 terrific kids.
I will post some of Jonah and his team when I get them back..
